Lumber Yard Worker
ALKI+Marine Lumber. is a wholesale/retail lumber distribution company in South Seattle. We are looking for a new energetic and driven team member. The successful candidate will also be prompt and detail oriented. We are looking for a dependable person who can get the job done. The position will pull orders and stage them for delivery; assist the loading and unloading lumber and other construction materials from trucks; safely operate a forklift; and keep the yard and warehouse clean. The position will also be expected to drive deliveries of orders to our retail customers. This position works outdoors in all weather conditions with limited coverage.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks
- Pull orders and stage for delivery
- Verify orders prior to delivery
- Ensure vehicles are locked and inside the yard at the end of every day
- Keep yard and warehouse clean and organized
Job Qualifications:
- Forklift operation experience
- Construction/Lumber background preferred
- MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check
- New Hire will be subject to a 60 day probation period

Assistant Accountant to CFO
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities, collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies, inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions, examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity, inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks to confirm records are accurate, examine records and interview workers to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with laws and regulations, prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports, assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards, prepare adjusting journal entries, review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences, establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts, analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
